Acceptable Use Policy for Voice Reviews

A voice review you record on LocalBro may be heard by other locals after safety and quality checks. Reviews should help future callers make an informed choice.

We approve

Honest descriptions of your experience with a provider.
Practical details: was the work done on time, was the price what was agreed, would you call this provider again.
Constructive criticism — "the tractor arrived two hours late but the work was good" is fine.

We reject

Threats, abuse, or hate speech — based on caste, religion, sex, language, region, or any other identity.
Personal attacks unrelated to the service — "this person is bad" with no description of what happened isn't helpful.
Sharing private information about anyone — phone numbers, addresses, family details — that wasn't already public.
Sexual content, sexually suggestive content, or content sexualizing any person.
Content involving minors — children should not be named, described, or depicted in any review.
False accusations — accusations of theft, violence, sexual misconduct, or crime require the matter to go to the police, not to a service review.
Spam, advertising, off-topic content, or content in a language we cannot process safely.
Anything that violates Indian law.

How reviews are handled

Reviews may go through automated checks, safety review, or both before they are shown to others. If a review is not accepted, you may re-record it at any time.

How you can report a review

Tap the menu on any review you can hear, choose "Report this review," and pick a reason. Reported reviews may be checked again and hidden or removed when needed. Reporting is anonymous to the person who recorded the review.

How you can block a provider

Tap the menu on any provider listing, choose "Block this provider." Blocked providers stop appearing in your listings results. You can unblock from Settings → Blocked providers.

How you can withdraw your own review

Open Settings → My reviews, find the review, tap Withdraw. The review stops being shown immediately. We keep the audio in our records for audit (see Privacy Policy §7).

Repeated violations

An account whose reviews are rejected for abusive content three times within 90 days has voice-review submission suspended for 30 days. Further violations may lead to account suspension. Genuine emergencies (someone using a review to report a crime or abuse) are escalated immediately and are not counted against this rule.
